Conference objectives
Experimental continuation encompasses a set of methods that combine continuation and control to obtain complete bifurcation diagrams of nonlinear systems, opening the door to exciting new testing paradigms and providing results of unprecedented quality in nonlinear systems testing. The purpose of the first International Conference on Experimental Continuation in Nonlinear Dynamics is to bring together experts in this growing field to promote discussion and exchange of ideas around the latest developments in the area of experimental continuation and control-based nonlinear vibration testing. Contributions on control-based continuation, phase-locked loops, response-controlled testing or any other innovative testing approach for nonlinear systems are welcome.

Transportation
Coming by plane
There are two main airports in Belgium: Brussels Airport (Brussels) and Brussels South Charleroi Airport (Charleroi). The former has a direct train connection with Liège. Liège also has an airport, but it is mainly used for cargo ships. Other major international airports, such as Paris Charles de Gaulle, Amsterdam Schiphol and Frankfurt Airports are within reasonable distance and enjoy train connections with Liège.
Coming by train
The main train station is Liège Guillemins, and trains in belgium are operated by SNCB.
Getting around in the city
Public transportation within the city consists of a tram and buses operated by TEC. Note that the recent (April 2025) addition of the tram came with important changes to the network, so make sure to check whether the information is up to date. A map of the new network is available here (on the right).
